5 RIGHT STREAMER: The bull, for strengththe mighty resurrected one, Yeshua, a humble servant on earth, King of Kings and Lord of Lords for eternity. 6 THE STANDARD: There is but one breastplate stone for Joseph, but two standards. For Manasseh, the royal palm; for Ephraim, a cluster of grapes for food and drink (bread and wine) for fruitfulness; and a sign of our inheritance (from wadi of Eschol, meaning cluster) carried on a pole (like the ark) by two men. (Numbers 13:23-24)7 ASPECT OF THE GOSPEL: Joseph represents the power and strength of the risen Messiah. The bulls horns reflect Josephs two sons (Ephraim and Manasseh), the double inheritance. Arthur Pink, a noted early twentieth century theologian, developed a list of over one hundred ways in which Joseph is a type or foreshadowing of Yeshua. These have been cited in Chuck Misslers work on the twelve tribes of Israel (pp 62-72).

THE JOSEPH PAINTING
Joseph is one of the most important tribes, and the life of Joseph is presented in much detail. In fact, it is an accurate prophetic picture of the life of Messiah. The bull represents the strengths of Messiah. The other painting elements represent various aspects of productivitygrain, vineyards, dates, etc. Joseph represents increase and resurrection.
In the Hebrew culture, the eldest son always received a double portion of the inheritance. This fell to Reuben. After Reuben sinned
(I Chronicles 5:1ff) the double portion was given to Joseph. Josephs two sons are often considered as separate tribes, making thirteen (Yeshua plus the twelve disciples). The younger son, Ephraim (double fruit) is more prominent then the younger Manasseh (forgetfulness). Ephraim is often represented by grapes, and Manasseh by the date palm tree. All these aspects are condensed into the painting, which does not contain the fullness of Joseph and his descendants.
There are three symbols in this painting, due to Gods reordering of the tribes. The double inheritance of the first-born, Reuben, was given to Josephs sons. (I Chronicles 5:1) Now before the ...famine, two sons were born to Joseph...And Joseph named the first-born Manasseh (making to forget), for God has made me forget all my trouble...and he named the second Ephraim (double fruit). (Genesis 41:50-51) Thus there were thirteen tribes in the wilderness; twelve camped around the tabernacle, with the Levites (priests) in the center. A picture of two men bearing a cluster of giant grapes is used as a logo for the department of tourism in Israel today.
The sheaves of wheat are the symbol associated with Josephs dream. There we were, binding sheaves in the field. Then behold, my sheaf arose and also stood upright; and indeed your sheaves stood all around and bowed down to my sheaf." (Genesis 37:7)
The Bull: His glory is like a firstborn bull, And his horns (Ephraim and Manasseh) like the horns (of the wild ox) together with them he shall push the peoples to the ends of the earth. (Deuteronomy 33:17)
The whole painting shows how God blessed Joseph through the fruitfulness of his life. "Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; his branches run over the wall. (Genesis 49:22)
THE PROPHECIES OF JOSEPH
Eleventh Son Born to Jacob by Rachel
Prophecy by Jacob
"Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; his branches run over the wall. The archers have bitterly grieved him, shot at him and hated him. But his bow remained in strength, and the arms of his hands were made strong by the hands of the Mighty God of Jacob (From there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel), by the God of your father who will help you, and by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that lies beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. The blessings of your father have excelled the blessings of my ancestors, up to the utmost bound of the everlasting hills. They shall be on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers. (Genesis 49:22-26)
Prophecy by Moses
"Blessed of the Lord is his land, with the precious things of heaven, with the dew, and the deep lying beneath, with the precious fruits of the sun, with the precious produce of the months, With the best things of the ancient mountains, with the precious things of the everlasting hills, with the precious things of the earth and its fullness, and the favor of Him who dwelt in the bush. Let the blessing come on the head of Joseph, and on the crown of the head of him who was separate from his brothers. His glory is like a firstborn bull, and his horns like the horns of the wild ox; together with them he shall push the peoples to the ends of the earth; they are the ten thousands of Ephraim, and they are the thousands of Manasseh." (Deuteronomy 33:13-17)
